SLSO provides free legal assistance to UMass students and student groups.
The Student Legal Services Office is a student-funded law office which provides legal assistance to fee-paying UMass students and student groups. We offer advice and/or referral in most legal matters affecting students, and can assist in identifying and solving legal problems. The SLSO employs three attorneys, a law office administrator, outreach coordinator, law clerks and undergraduate legal assistants through an internship program.
